The Enemy Within
Julia briefly recaps the season so far.
The kids are playing in an Old West VR programme. Initially Uly is the Sheriff and True the hostage, but she doesn’t like how he plays so she switches their roles around. Devon calls them out of the game before they can sort it out.
It’s been 49 days since the crash, apparently. Julia narrates about how their days are starting to blend together, each one the same as all the others. Her Council communicator starts chirping for attention.
On the edge of the camp Danziger is studying a flat tire on the ATV when True asks him abut the ‘white stuff’. He thinks it’s frozen rain, also known as snow.
Julia crosses some of the snow patches as she signs into VR. Reilly is waiting for her. He wants her location, which she refuses to give him. He plays on her loyalty to the Council, loyalty which has literally been bred into her. Julia doesn’t seem to be buying it.
